IP Glance is an iOS app built around a single question: what IP address is actually leaving your device right now, and has it changed? Instead of burying that answer in settings or a web lookup, it puts the exit IP, city and ISP on a dashboard and on Home and Lock Screen widgets, so the information is visible without opening anything.
The core feature is the purity report. For the current exit or any IP you type in, it shows whether the address is hosting, residential or mobile, whether public data flags it as a proxy, and a 0 to 100 risk score labeled as an estimate. Each check is compared with the previous one; when the exit differs, the app adds a timeline entry with old IP, new IP, city and network type, grouped by day, and sends a local notification.
It suits people whose exit IP changes frequently, such as remote workers on VPNs, users checking whether a connection looks residential, and anyone who wants a lightweight log of network shifts. Checks run when the app opens, when the network changes or when a widget refreshes, and the full history can be exported as CSV or cleared.
There is no account and nothing is uploaded, which keeps setup friction low but means the record lives only on that iPhone. It requires iOS 17 or later and is distributed through the App Store. Treat the risk score as a quick signal rather than a definitive verdict, and use the CSV export if you need to keep a longer record.
