Walt Disney Animation Studios’ official site presents the Burbank- and Vancouver-based studio behind films from 1937’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs to the upcoming Hexed. It functions as a public-facing hub where visitors can follow the studio’s release slate, learn how its films are made, and explore the people and roles behind the work.
The site organizes content into clear sections: Feature Films, Short Films, and Disney+ Originals for output; Filmmaking Process and Technology for production insight; and Data Sets, Open Source, and Publications for technical resources. A dedicated careers area lists open positions, teams, and internships, while Life at Disney covers people and events.
Film pages highlight upcoming titles such as Hexed (2026), Lilo & Scratch (2026), Frozen 3 (2027), and Clay (2028), alongside behind-the-scenes features like Bringing Zootopia 2 to Life. The technology section emphasizes collaboration between artists and technologists, and the open-source and publications pages give external developers and researchers material to work with.
This makes the site useful to several audiences: animation fans tracking release dates, students and job seekers exploring studio careers and internships, and technical professionals interested in animation research and shared tools. Casual viewers looking to stream films will not find a viewing portal here.
A practical tip is to use the top navigation to jump directly to What We Do or Careers rather than scrolling
