media.ccc.de is the official media portal of the Chaos Computer Club, built to publish and stream recordings from CCC events and affiliated gatherings. Rather than a general video platform, it functions as a long-term public archive of talks, panels, and workshops, with the stated goal of making technical and political discussions openly accessible.
The site organizes content by event and by recency, and each recording is available in several formats, including SD video, higher-quality streams, and audio-only podcast feeds. Separate RSS feeds cover recent items, the last two years of podcasts, and an archive feed for older material, which makes it practical to subscribe rather than browse.
The catalog is large, covering well-known congresses alongside smaller regional meetups and youth events, with topics ranging from SSH configuration and terminal quirks to social media policy and AI. This makes it useful for developers, security researchers, students, and anyone following digital-rights debates in the German-speaking tech community.
New visitors may find it easiest to start from a specific event page or the recently added list, then use the podcast feeds for regular listening. Because recordings vary in language and production quality, checking the event context before watching helps set expectations. Overall, it is a durable reference archive rather than a curated learning course.
