Type It Big is a browser-based display tool built around one simple idea: whatever you type should fill the screen in letters as large as the space allows. There is no account, no download, and no setup beyond opening the page and entering a message. The interface keeps controls minimal so the sign itself stays the focus.
The core features cover more than static text. You can switch between still, scrolling, and flashing modes, adjust font style and colors, and control scroll speed. A character counter caps messages at 280 characters, and the current sign is saved on your device. Copy link lets you share a configured sign, and full-screen mode works on phones, laptops, projectors, and TVs.
Typical uses include airport and school pickups, concert and game cheering, classroom instructions, and conversations across noisy rooms or with hard-of-hearing users. Turning a phone sideways yields larger letters, and on a computer you can keep typing while full screen to extend the message.
For best results, keep messages short enough to stay legible at a distance, choose high-contrast colors, and use scroll or flash only when attention is needed. Reduced-motion preferences are respected, so signs start still by default. Overall, it is a fast, free utility for temporary, high-visibility messages.
