Perch is a Mac desktop app built around a single idea: you should concentrate on one task while the app monitors everything else. It gathers your Claude Code sessions, linked pull requests, and reference links into one calm workspace, so you no longer need to juggle terminal windows and browser tabs to check progress.
The core workflow centers on parallel sessions. You can import existing Claude Code sessions and Perch resumes each exactly where it left off, even after quitting or updating the app. Each piece of work gets a short checklist with clear ownership—you, Claude, or a teammate—and Claude writes a one-line status as it runs. Perch automatically detects linked PRs across repositories and worktrees and shows who you are waiting on, staying silent until Claude, a reviewer, or CI actually needs you.
It is aimed at developers already using Claude Code who run several tasks concurrently, especially those reviewing PRs or coordinating handoffs with teammates. Because it is a free beta for Apple Silicon Macs, it fits individual contributors and small teams experimenting with AI-assisted workflows rather than organizations needing cross-platform support.
A practical approach is to start with two or three sessions you already have running, let Perch resume them, and rely on the status lines and PR indicators instead of checking terminals manually. Use deep focus mode to mute other contexts when a single task demands attention. The main caveat is platform lock-in and beta st
