Jag’s AI Map is an interactive visualization of the AI landscape, built around the question of what is heating up in AI right now. Rather than presenting a ranked list, it maps the companies, models, products, people, hardware and ideas that are drawing the most attention in English-language news and developer communities over a rolling seven-day window.
The map encodes attention spatially: entities that are bigger, closer to the centre and more connected are the ones being talked about most. Every story adds heat to the entities it mentions, weighted by source and popularity signals such as Hacker News points, Hugging Face upvotes and GitHub stars. Heat decays with a 24-hour half-life, so the view reflects the last few days rather than a static snapshot. Visual markers distinguish topics from entities, highlight the hottest topic, flag new arrivals, and show rising or cooling momentum versus 24 hours earlier, with orange names indicating breaking surges in the last six hours.
A companion Articles view opens a scrollable archive of every article behind the map, covering the last 30 days and grouped by source with the newest first. Users can filter to a single source and click any headline to open it in a new tab, while a small counter shows how many new articles were discovered in the past hour.
It suits AI practitioners, developers, investors and journalists who want a quick, source-weighted read on where attention is moving without scanning multiple feeds. Use the map to
