FOR

FOR is a free online radio site built around a browsable directory of live stations rather than a single curated stream. The homepage presents the world as a dial: visitors can jump into country and region listings, music genres, or broadcast languages, then open a station and keep listening while continuing to explore other parts of the site.

The core experience is search and filtering across the station directory, with favorites saved for return visits. Editorial sections highlight stations worth tuning into, such as KEXP 90.3 FM in Seattle, FIP in France, Bossa Jazz Brasil, and FM Setagaya in Japan, each labeled with its country and genre. A language selector switches the interface among English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Japanese, and both Simplified and Traditional Chinese.

It suits listeners who want background music or news from a particular region, language learners looking for broadcasts in their target language, and expats or travelers who want to keep up with radio from home. Because everything runs in the browser, there is nothing to install for casual listening.

Practical guides explain how to listen in a browser, what to do when a station will not play, how to estimate radio data usage, and how internet radio differs from FM. Mobile apps for iOS and Android are described as in development and are not linked to a public store release, so the browser remains the reliable option for now.
