Wishcode is a lightweight idea board built around a single prompt: “I wish there was an app that…”. Instead of lengthy feature requests or forum threads, visitors finish that sentence in one line and publish it. No account or form is required, which makes posting an idea about as fast as typing a tweet.
The core mechanic is the “Me too” button. Every tap adds to a public counter, so developers can see how many people share a given need before committing time to it. Anyone with a GitHub account can claim a wish, signal that work is underway, and later post a live link. A wish is marked fulfilled once the original wisher confirms it works or three people who voted “Me too” say so.
The site is aimed at two audiences. Would-be users get a place to voice missing apps and see they are not alone; indie developers and hobbyist builders get a stream of pre-validated ideas ranked by visible demand. The optional email field lets wishers hear when something ships.
If you post, keep the sentence concrete and narrow — a specific annoyance like a mic that mutes when the dog barks is easier to build and judge than a broad category. Builders should check the me-too counts and claim a wish publicly so duplicate efforts are avoided.
In short, Wishcode works as a small demand-discovery layer between people with app frustrations and the developers who might fix them.
